The Results From My Surveys

I did a survey of 6 people about blogs, so I’ll introduce about the result!

Which topics do you think the most interesting?
-Most people answered New Zealand is the most interesting. Next is festival. I think movie is also interesting.

What do you think the most important point for blog?
-Three people said contents. Other said quality and links.

Did you leave comments on good blogs?
-5 people answered “Yes”. Only 1 person said “No”.

How many?
-All people said sometimes.

What kind of comments?
-Everyone wrote about good points of blogs. Me too! I wrote about same things.

Did you become interested in making blogs?
-Everyone answered “Yes”. I think so, too. It was first time for me to make blogs, and I enjoyed making blogs.

Do you want to continue making blogs?
-5 people said “Yes” and only 1 said “No”. I think if I have a time, I want to try to make blogs.

Do you search the internet in English?
-4 people answered sometimes.2 people said quite often. I think it makes our blog better to search in Japanese and English.

I could know most people have same idea about blog. I think we can get some information by using blogs.

Best Blogs in Other Class

I read some other class blogs and thought there are many good blogs. I chose Best 3, so I’ll introduce about them.

I think No.1blog is Poco A Poco. Because, I think this blog is very easy to see. There are many pictures and much information. I could understand easily. In addition, the design is very cute! I like it very much!

No.2 blog is Attention Please!. There is lots of good information each blog. Also, there are many links especially about movie. This is also a good point. Therefore I enjoyed reading her blog.

No.3 blog is Flower Town. Because she uses some color, but I think it’s easy to see. Also, the letter were changed the color and boldface to show. I think it’s very good. There are many links too.

There are many interesting blogs in other class. I recommend you to read some blogs in other class.

Best Blogs

I think there are a lot of great blogs, but I chose best 3. Now I’d like to introduce them.

I think Natsuki’s blog is the best, because there are some pictures, so it’s very easy to understand. Also, there are some links, therefore I can get more knowledge soon by using internet. In addition, I think her blogs as a hole was written a lot. Therefore I could enjoy reading it especially her summer vacation. She wrote some her memory, so I could read a lot.

Second is Ayaka N. Ayaka’s blog is also good, because there are many links. I could enjoy watching these homepages. I watched some homepages and also could get new information there, because there is much information. For example, New Zealand. I didn’t know about New Zealand’s food very well, but I got lots of new information such as pavlova. In addition, there are some pictures. Therefore I could know about them.

Third is Miki. Miki’s blog is wonderful, because I think the layout is very nice. It’s cute and easy to see. Therefore I could read her blog easily. Also, I think there is good information and could know about it very much. I think I could get good information especially about climate in New Zealand. There is a graph, so it’s easy for me to understand about it.

Speech of Animal

Hello. I’m Tomoyo. I’m going to talk about mammals. First is about fur seal. It’s called Kekeno in Maori. You have a chance to see it at a beach, because fur seal often spend the time on the rock. I’ll introduce about New Zealand. Next is about Long-tailed bat and short-tailed bat. They are only New Zealand own mammals, and called Pekapeka in Maori. However they are protected at some islands now. Secondly, I’ll introduce about Japan. There are lots of mammals in Japan. Shika live in a group at mountain district, and almost range Asia. Most Japanese image they are in Nara Park and Itsukushima shrine. Next is about Japanese wild boar. It ranges from Honshu to Kyushu. Male has long sharp tusks, but for female, it takes a year to have tusks.

Animals in New Zealand and Japan



The New Zealand fur seal: it’s called Kekeno in Maori. It has a pointy nose, long whisker and visible external ears. You can see them when you walk beach.



Long-tailed bat and short- tailed bat: They are called Pekapeka in Maori. They are only their own mammals of New Zealand. Now they are protected at some secession, for example, Stewart Island, Great Barrier and Kapiti Island.

Sheep: There are so many sheep in New Zealand. There are 45 million sheep. The herd of sheep is on the road, so you have a lot of chances to see them. In addition, there are shows of sheep.



Japanese wild boar: Japanese wild boar range from Honshu to the Kyushu district. They have sharp tusk, and male tusk is especially long. However it takes about a year to be able to recognize female tusks. The foods are short, but they can run fast.


Shika deer: They usually live in a group at mountain district. They range Japan, China, and the Korean Peninsula. In Japan, we usually know they are in Nara Park, Itsukushima shrine. Only male have horns.



Raccoon Dog: They are nocturnal and live alone or pair. If they have paired, they can’t break off until one of them die. The color of body is gray-brown and black around eyes and foods. They range Japan and some other Asia.

Wine Festival's Speech


I’ll introduce about the events. The admission fee is 3800 yen. I think it’s a little expensive, but the events are wonderful! You can eat as much as you like, and drink as much as you want. For example, you can drink Tokachi wine. You can pour wine from wood. If you can’t drink alcohol, there is also grape juice. Also, there are beef sausages, hamburger, vegetables, sermon, and so on, so you can eat many delicious foods. Moreover, I recommend you to eat barbecue of beef. You have to get it at once, because it’s very popular, so it will be eaten for 3 hours. In addition, there are some interesting events. For example, contest of drinking wine and guessing it. And other contest is wine brewing. Only women can join the contest. Women who wear shoes which are made from woods press juice from grapes. The person who presses it the most will become winner. Like this there are some events, so I think you can enjoy the festival.

I'll introduce about the wine festival in Ikedacho, Hokkaido. It’s held every October on first Sunday. The admission fee is 3800 yen. I think it’s a little expensive, but the events are wonderful! You can eat as much as you like, and drink as much as you want. For example, there are beef sausages, hamburger, vegetables, sermon, and so on. I recommend you to eat barbecue of beef. You have to get it at once, because it’s very popular, so it will be eaten for 3 hours. Also, you can drink Tokachi wine. You can pour wine from casks. It’s very interesting. Next, I’ll introduce about the wine festivals in the world. There are a lot of wine festivals, for example, in Switzerland, France, , Hungary and so on. The most popular Swiss wine festival is Expovina. It is held on the 12 ships in Zurich. You can taste about 4000 kinds of wine there. Other festival is International Wine Festival in Budapest. Budapest is a capital city in Hungary. You can taste wine but also eat Hungarian foods and cheese. Then, Beaune wine festival. It’s held in France for three days. There are cheese, breads, and wine. In addition, you can enjoy parade. Like this, there are a lot of wine festivals around the world. If you are interested in it, please check it.
