Speech of Animal

Hello. I’m Tomoyo. I’m going to talk about mammals. First is about fur seal. It’s called Kekeno in Maori. You have a chance to see it at a beach, because fur seal often spend the time on the rock. I’ll introduce about New Zealand. Next is about Long-tailed bat and short-tailed bat. They are only New Zealand own mammals, and called Pekapeka in Maori. However they are protected at some islands now. Secondly, I’ll introduce about Japan. There are lots of mammals in Japan. Shika live in a group at mountain district, and almost range Asia. Most Japanese image they are in Nara Park and Itsukushima shrine. Next is about Japanese wild boar. It ranges from Honshu to Kyushu. Male has long sharp tusks, but for female, it takes a year to have tusks.

Animals in New Zealand and Japan

The New Zealand fur seal: it’s called Kekeno in Maori. It has a pointy nose, long whisker and visible external ears. You can see them when you walk beach.



Long-tailed bat and short- tailed bat: They are called Pekapeka in Maori. They are only their own mammals of New Zealand. Now they are protected at some secession, for example, Stewart Island, Great Barrier and Kapiti Island.

Sheep: There are so many sheep in New Zealand. There are 45 million sheep. The herd of sheep is on the road, so you have a lot of chances to see them. In addition, there are shows of sheep.



Japanese wild boar: Japanese wild boar range from Honshu to the Kyushu district. They have sharp tusk, and male tusk is especially long. However it takes about a year to be able to recognize female tusks. The foods are short, but they can run fast.


Shika deer: They usually live in a group at mountain district. They range Japan, China, and the Korean Peninsula. In Japan, we usually know they are in Nara Park, Itsukushima shrine. Only male have horns.



Raccoon Dog: They are nocturnal and live alone or pair. If they have paired, they can’t break off until one of them die. The color of body is gray-brown and black around eyes and foods. They range Japan and some other Asia.

Wine Festival's Speech

I’ll introduce about the events. The admission fee is 3800 yen. I think it’s a little expensive, but the events are wonderful! You can eat as much as you like, and drink as much as you want. For example, you can drink Tokachi wine. You can pour wine from wood. If you can’t drink alcohol, there is also grape juice. Also, there are beef sausages, hamburger, vegetables, sermon, and so on, so you can eat many delicious foods. Moreover, I recommend you to eat barbecue of beef. You have to get it at once, because it’s very popular, so it will be eaten for 3 hours. In addition, there are some interesting events. For example, contest of drinking wine and guessing it. And other contest is wine brewing. Only women can join the contest. Women who wear shoes which are made from woods press juice from grapes. The person who presses it the most will become winner. Like this there are some events, so I think you can enjoy the festival.

The most popular Swiss wine festival is Expovina. It is held on the 12 ships in Zurich. You can taste about 4000 kinds of wine there. Other festival is International Wine Festival in Budapest. Budapest is a capital city in Hungary. You can taste wine but also eat Hungarian foods and cheese. Then, Beaune wine festival. It’s held in France for three days. There are cheese, breads, and wine. In addition, you can enjoy parade. Like this, there are a lot of wine festivals around the world. If you are interested in it, please check it.

Movie

I’d like to introduce about “ENCHANTED”. I watched this movie with subtitles last year. I like this movie, so I’d talk about it. It’s a Disney movie. This movie is an American love-comedy and mixed drama and cartoon. It was released in 2007. The director is Kevin Lima. He concerned with “The Little Mermaid” “Beauty and the Beast” “Aladdin” and so on. The movie has a lot of Disney’s favorite scenes which everyone knows. I think it’s very interesting and one of good point of this movie.

Firstly, I’d introduce about the story of "ENCHANTED". The main character is Giselle. She lives in Andalasia, but she is banished from the romantic animated land to modern day Manhattan by the queen Narissa. Because her son prince Edward and Giselle tries to marry, so she wants to stop it. First, Giselle meets Robert and Morgan, when she is looking for a castle. Robert is a lower and Morgan is his daughter. He takes care of Giselle. She always begins to sing a song anytime she wants to sing. There is a gap between the real world and magical world. Also, Prince Edward comes to Manhattan to look for Giselle. Robert has a girlfriend Nancy, but he and Giselle are attracted to each other. Finally, the queen Narissa tries to have Giselle eat a poison apple, and Giselle eat it, but she is revived by Robert. Giselle and Robert fight with the queen Narissa, and they get a happy life in the real world. Incidentally, the price Edward and Nancy also get a happy life in the animated land. Therefore the story has a happy ending.

Amy Adams played the heroin Giselle. Patrick Dempsey played Robert. James Marsden played Prince Edward. Susan Sarandon played queen Narissa. Each of them appears favorite movies. Amy sings some songs in this movie, and they are musical number. Therefore, I think all songs are wonderful, and they make me happy. Some songs are nominated for some prize, for example, “That’s How You Know” and “Happy Working Song” and so on. They are just Disney’s songs, but “So Close” is only modern tune. I like all songs. In addition, CDs which have these songs are released, so you can check. Also, the DVD was released in this summer, so you can watch it by DVD. I think this movie is so romantic, and I can enjoy the musical number, so I recommend you to watch this movie and listen to music. If you are interested in this movie, please check!!

My Summer Vacation

I went to Disney Resort twice this summer vacation. Firstly I went there with my friends. Secondly I went there with my mother. I was very happy because I could go there after a long break and go there twice.
I went to Disneyland with my friends. I was so sleepy because the day before was tests, but I was so exciting. During we were taking the bullet train, we tried to see the Mt.Fuji, but we couldn’t see that. We went on looking for the Mt. Fuji until we arrived at Yokohama station.

When we arrived at Tokyo, we hurried to Disneyland. At length we got to Disneyland. When I saw it, I was so happy. There were a lot of people especially children. At first we went to watch “Micro Adventure”. This is like a movie, but it’s a 3D movie, so I was excited. After that we saw the show. During summer, the show uses much water, and it was hot day. Therefore we went there to get wet. I enjoyed the show very much, and most people were warming up. Before we went to see the show, we bought lunch. It was a pizza, so I had to try to save it from water. I think it was also interesting.

In the afternoon, we could ride lots of attractions and go to Mickey’s house and took a picture with him. I was so happy. Also, I watched parades and fireworks. When I watched fireworks, I was so impressed, because it was so wonderful, and the Cinderella castle was illuminated at once, after that we enjoyed until the park closed. I bought so many souvenirs there and took pictures. I was very happy and had a very good time. I was so sad when I left there.

We stayed at a hotel. The room which we stayed was look like a ship, so I also enjoyed there. There were oars, life jackets and so on in the room. Besides I could see the Disneyland from my room a little, so I was happy very much. I was looking it for a long time. We talked a lot, so I also had a good time.

Next morning, we go to eat breakfast in the hotel. I was also looking forward to eat breakfast in the hotel, because it was a buffet. Therefore I ate a lot of foods, for example an omelet, breads, fruits and so on. There were many kinds of food, so I became full. After we finished breakfast, we returned our room, but we slept again there. Therefore we hurried to leave the hotel when I got up. We went to sightseeing in Tokyo. I had a very good time in this travel. I want to go to travel again.

☆Fatness and Disease☆
Fatness is concerned with disease!! For example, cerebral infarction, cardiac infarction and so on. Fatness is very serious problem for us. This site is written about Yoga. The origin of yoga is 4,500 years ago in India. I was surprised about that, because I didn’t know the origin of yoga. Also, there is the Japan Yoga Meditation Association. The purpose of the society is to popularize yoga. Please check this site!

This site introduces about yoga. Please click “Astanga yoga”. There are some pictures. I was surprised when I watched the pictures, because the poses seem so hard. Please check it.

This site is about The Japan Society for Laughter and Humor Studies (JSLHS). It was established in 1994. The purpose of the society is studying about laughter and humor, and recognizing laughter deeply and contributing to the culture of laughter.
I think this society is very interesting, because they are studying about laugh and humor. It’s very important. If you are interested in the society, please check on this link.

These three sites are written about effects of laughing. I don’t know laughing is effective in curing disease. The effects of laughing are better than I think.
